Fractal of the Day

James Albert Muth has become well-known for his Fractal of the Day (FOTD). Jim joined (contains photo) the "Fractal-Art Discussion List" not too long after it's creation. And it was not long before he started publishing the now popular FOTD with it's first image. Here you can see incredible fractal depictions resulting from Jim's explorations in that area where mathematics becomes art. Jim uses the freeware program, Fractint, for his computer generated graphics.
